According to Michelle Kelley’s family, her blood alcohol content was nearly three times higher than the legal limit.
Michelle Kelley, a resident of Westerville, Ohio, tragically passed away on March 28 during her stay at the hotel and casino.
According to the lawsuit, which was filed last Tuesday on behalf of her estate and husband Jason Kelley, it is claimed that Kelley was provided with a minimum of 17 alcoholic beverages, despite appearing visibly intoxicated.
According to court documents, Kelley’s blood alcohol content was .222, which was nearly three times the legal limit. The lawsuit claims that the alcohol played a significant role in her death and was a direct cause of it.
The family is insisting on taking the case to a jury and is seeking $15 million in compensation.
